The artist Emily Cowan, a short-haired blonde white woman in a dark floral dress, stands proudly against a white background and smiles shyly, her eyes gazing upwards. She holds her painting "Hide and Seek" (pictured and described to the left) by its top corner, resting its bottom corner on her shoe.

Emily Cowan Fine Art

Fine arts painter specializing in architectural portraiture.

Painting houses; creating Home.

A painting - titled "Hide and Seek" - of a brown house against a gray sky, almost entirely hidden by a lush tangled garden featuring a weeping willow tree obscuring the roofline, smaller trees obscuring the doorway and windows, cedar shrubs lining the front yard and an explosion of autumn-coloured flowers all over the lawn; red, yellow and orange poppies, zinnias and other September flowers. On either side of the path in the middle of these flowers, there are two wooden stakes in the foreground; each holding up the wilting remains of a dying sunflower stalk.
