HOW IT WORKS We begin by you getting in touch with your idea! Send me the story of the building you are commissioning an artwork of, and feel free to tell me the story of why it’s special and who the painting will be for! If you have a photograph, go ahead and send it too. I’ll need to know what size painting you would like to wind up with: for custom work, I don’t go any smaller than 8”x10” as it’s difficult to deliver a highly detailed, quality piece much smaller than that. Once I know your vision and we’ve agreed on a size, I will begin work. A smaller pieces generally takes about two weeks to complete, and larger ones take longer: we can discuss the timelines as we go through the planning stages. Some seasons are busier than others (Christmastime especially!) so try to bear that in mind and plan ahead to set us both up for success. Once the piece is complete, we can meet up in person for delivery if you are local to Vancouver, or I will package and ship to wherever you are in the world! PRICING: All custom work starts at $300 for an eight by ten and goes up incrementally from there. The formula I use to find a sale price for custom artwork is Length X Width, Multiplied by $3.75 per square inch of painted surface. So for an 8x10 it would be 8 inches times ten inches equals 80 inches; then 80x3.75=300. I use this same formula for all custom work; you may calculate it yourself or get in touch to have me whip up a potential price.
