Do You KnowIf Your Building Is For Sale?

As I sat and decided I wanted to paint this building, the neighborhood had come alive with the sounds of the first evenings of summer.  Everyone who walked by, everyone on the patio at the brewery next door, everyone laughing on a nearby balcony or walking their dogs or watering their gardens all seemed to be discussing the same thing - This city is unliveable, rent is out of control, how can we possibly afford to stay any longer, it’s killing us all and yet:
 
As I sit in the gloaming the city is alive with summer and we are in it and it is ours.
